Police: Mother killed, 6 children hospitalized after crash in Choctaw

A crash in Choctaw Thursday night claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman who had six children in the vehicle she was driving, officials with the Choctaw Police Department confirmed. The crash happened near Northeast 23rd Street and North McDonald Road. Police said it was a single-vehicle crash and that all of the children in the car were taken to a local hospital. The children ranged in age from 3 months to 7 years old and all are in "stable condition," Choctaw police officials confirmed. Officials said they are working to determine what led up to the crash.
