Police say that a man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Springfield Township on Saturday. According to the Springfield Township Police Department, the crash happened as 35-year-old Corey Thrasher of Mt. Healthy was operating a motorcycle on the westbound lanes of the Ronald Reagan Highway near the Daly Road overpass. Police did not say how the crash happened, but Thrasher was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene as first responders arrived to the area a short time later. Police first received a call about the crash at approximately 1 a.m.
