Police release body worn camera footage from officer-involved shooting in Severn
Anne Arundel County Police have released the body worn camera footage from a carjacking that escalated into an officer-involved shooting from May in Severn. On May 7, around 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a collision near North Crain Highway and 11th Avenue in Glen Burnie. Investigators say the driver, later identified as Jasmin Cooper, 28, of Crownsville, crashed into another vehicle and then forcibly took a relative’s vehicle when the family member arrived at the scene to help after the initial collision. Cooper was later located by officers in the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive in Severn.
