BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge police shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning after a stabbing, a police chase and a standoff at an abandoned apartment complex, according to police. Police said the chase started after officers responded to a stabbing on Winthrop Avenue, where an elderly man was stabbed multiple times. The suspect then took off in the victim’s car, police said. Police said the vehicle was spotted by a Flock camera, which helped officers track the suspect and engage in a pursuit. The chase ended at an abandoned apartment complex, where police said 33-year-old Devin Morris barricaded himself.
