Pospisil: Though Mike Patterson covered countless sports at the OWH, there was only one PAT

Meet the 2025 All-Nebraska baseball team Without a doubt, Mike Patterson has worn the most hats in covering the most beats by a World-Herald sports reporter. At this year's College World Series, Mike Patterson interviewed former U.S. Patterson and Stu Pospisil have teamed up on high school sports coverage the past 25 years. (One of them has a hole in one.) Mike Patterson and wife Beth, also known as the more athletic half of the pair, have been married nearly 41 years. They have three kids and five grandkids.
