Latest update from WAVY.com: Hampton man dies following shooting in Prince George County; suspect arrested - WAVY. PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — A Hampton man was discovered dead in Prince George County on Saturday, according to the Prince George County Police Department. Omar DeLoatch, 44, of Hampton, was found dead on private property in the 15200 block of James River Drive on Saturday morning. Police said he had “trauma consistent with ballistic injuries.” Later Saturday, Prince George County police and detectives arrested Del’Wan Bland, 41, of Prince George, on charges of second-degree murder, use of firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a violent felon. He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Prince George County Police Department at 804-733-2773 or Crime Solvers at 804-733-2777, according to police.
