Prisoner stabbed to death in Hagerstown
HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Maryland State police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Maryland Correctional Training Center. On Monday, Sept. 21, around 10 p.m., the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit was contacted by investigators from the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Internal Investigative Unit about an inmate death. During the preliminary investigation, officers said the inmate was found suffering from apparent stab wounds in his cell.
