R&B singer facing first-degree murder charge after 4-year-old nephew’s death

Deshundre Vinson, a young R&B artist known for his time on “American Idol,” is facing some horrific charges in Tennessee. According to Chattanoogan.com , the 22-year-old singer has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 4-year-old nephew. Vinson has also been charged with three counts of aggravated child abuse. The Chattanoogan reported that the charges came after the young boy drowned in a swimming pool at an apartment complex on Aug. Police said they were responding to another incident at the apartment complex around 5:41 p.m., when they heard screaming coming from the area where the pool was located.
