Underdogs landed a lot of early punches Saturday, and while only a few of them closed the deal -- Kentucky indeed finished off Texas A &M, West Virginia scored a nice statement win over Virginia, Mount Union fell to 1-2 and mighty Grand View fell to Benedictine -- it made for a pretty disorienting Saturday of ball. UTSA 30-6 The Longhorns proved their extreme resilience with their comeback win over Ohio State in Week 2, but their defense was wobbly early against Texas State in Week 1, and their offense never really shifted into gear against UTSA on Saturday. That won't matter as long as they continue to show up when it counts, but with eight of their last nine games coming against teams ranked 30th or higher in SP+ -- including Tennessee in Knoxville this coming Saturday -- pretty much every drive counts now.
