Rep. Samantha Sencer-Mura - Minneapolis Delegation Statement on Mass Casualty Event

Paul, Minn. – Yesterday there was a domestic violence-related mass casualty event near Loring Park in Minneapolis at the Shoreline Apartments. The Minnesota House Minneapolis Delegation released the following statement in response: “ We are horrified and heartbroken by the shooting incident at Shoreline Apartments which resulted in the deaths of residents Muse Abdi Afrah and Dale Henry Spry and six others wounded, including three officers. The gunman, Carlton Johnson, was also killed. No one should have this happen in their home, and we offer our hearts to the victims and their loved ones. We are grateful for the swift action of first responders to restore safety to the area and render aid at great personal risk.
