Ryan Crouser, Connie Clark join 4 football players among Texas Hall of Honor inductees

A dozen former Longhorns athletes and the softball program's first coach will be honored this fall by the Texas athletic department as some of its all-time greats. This year's Texas Hall of Honor induction class was announced Thursday, headlined by three-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser, who was an All-American in the shot put while throwing for Texas from 2012-16. Mike Williams and Malcom Brown, both of whom were first-round NFL draft picks, will represent the UT football program alongside Jackson Jeffcoat and Lawrence Sampleton. The men's class also includes Olympians Mark Boswell (track and field) and Garrett Weber-Gale (swimming and diving). The Class of 2026 will be honored in an on-campus ceremony Sept.
