Secretary of State says NH voting sites have seen election monitors, few issues

It’s primary election day in New Hampshire, and the Secretary of State’s Office says there have been very few issues at polling sites across the state. The Secretary of State’s Office predicted about 28% turnout, including just over 145,000 Republican ballots and 103,000 Democratic ballots. Secretary of State David Scanlan told News 9 it is too early to tell if turnout is more or less than expected. The only significant issue Scanlan pointed out was that a few polling places around the state are concerned they may run out of Democratic ballots, but his office is working to get more ballots to those locations. Scanlan also talked to News 9 about election monitors, as the Department of Justice announced Tuesday that its monitoring efforts will continue all the way through primary season.
