Seguin couple dead in plane crash near Louisiana airport
Louisiana officials have identified a Seguin couple as the victims in a Thursday morning plane crash near a southeast Louisiana airport. The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office said that 68-year-old William "Bill" Day and his wife, 69-year-old Tommie Day, were killed in a small plane crash in Bogalusa, a town near the Mississippi border. Their Beech H35 airplane crashed just after 10:45 a.m. near the George R. Carr Memorial Airport, the sheriff's office said. The Days were the only occupants of the plane.
