Seguin couple identified as victims in fiery Louisiana plane crash
BOGALUSA, La. — We've learned a couple from Seguin died in a fiery plane crash Thursday morning in Louisiana. The couple has been identified as 68-year-old William "Bill" Day and his 69-year-old wife, Tommie. According to the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 10:48 a.m. near the George R. Carr Memorial Airfield in Bogalusa, about 70 miles north of New Orleans and near the Mississippi state line. The FAA says the Beechcraft Bonanza crashed into a wooded area shortly after taking off from the airport.
