Caille said there is video evidence of the suspect riding in the back of a truck on Highway 97, discharging fireworks near Orondo. Those fireworks, according to the sheriff's office, ultimately hit dry grass, igniting the fire. A burn ban had been in effect since June 1.

The 18-year-old, Michael Yakimov, was arrested in Kent on Wednesday and was transported to the Chelan County Regional Justice Center. Evacuation orders were issued.
