Shippensburg’s Beckenbaugh, Cumberland Valley’s Will among favorites at Mid-Penn golf championships

Hoping to defend her Mid-Penn Conference golf championship, Shippensburg junior Kaydee Beckenbaugh returns to Range End Golf Club Tuesday to take on another talented field. Beckenbaugh’s 6-over 77 last season was good enough for a two-stroke victory. The Greyhounds’ ace led the conference in scoring (78.00) during the regular season, edging Trinity’s Veronica Maddux (78.17), Palmyra’s Marissa Battistielli (82.00) and Middletown’s Reagan Young (83.13). That foursome will open the 9 a.m. shotgun start at the par-4 18 th .
