A person was injured in a shooting in Kirby on Monday, authorities said. Deputies found a person suffering from two gunshot wounds when they responded to reports of a shooting at a Kirby residence, according to a social media post from the Pike County sheriff’s office. The shooting occurred around 12:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Barentine Road , Arkansas State Police spokesperson Nick Genty said Tuesday. The victim was taken to a designated landing zone and airlifted to a hospital for further treatment of their injuries, the post said.
