Shooting outside Wynwood Jamaican restaurant leaves 2 wounded, first responders say

MIAMI — Two men were wounded in a shooting outside of a Jamaican restaurant in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood shortly after midnight on Tuesday, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News. Miami Fire Rescue officials said the two victims, an 18-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition after suffering gunshot wounds outside Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen, located at 316 NW 24th St. The restaurant is located across from the Wynwood 25 apartment building in an area known for its restaurants, shops and nightlife. Authorities said Miami police received multiple emergency calls and found a man with a gunshot wound outside Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen. Witnesses said officers later found a second victim outside Skinny Louie’s, the restaurant next door.
