Six Flags Great Adventure unveils world's tallest and fastest spinning launch coaster

WASHINGTON — Six Flags Great Adventure unveiled the world's fastest and tallest spinning launching rollercoaster on Tuesday. The new ride, Bakunawa, is arriving at the New Jersey theme park in 2027. According to Six Flags, the rollercoaster is a first-of-its-kind coaster, breaking six world records. In addition to being the fastest and tallest spinning coaster, it is also the world's fastest inversion, the world's longest stall inversion, the world's first floorless spinning coaster, and the world's first upside-down launch.
