South Austin, Chicago shooting today critically injures 14-year-old girl in 300-block of South Laramie Avenue: police department
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teenage girl was critically injured in a West Side shooting early Saturday morning, Chicago police said. Police said officers responded to the South Austin neighborhood's 300-block of South Laramie Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. There, officers found a vehicle with multiple bullet holes. Nearby, they located a 14-year-old girl who had been shot in the face and chest. The Chicago Fire Department treated the victim on the scene before she was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
