A SpaceX employee is accused of stabbing a man in the neck at a Del Valle bar early Saturday morning, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. According to an arrest affidavit, 35-year-old Kyle Gonzalez got into a confrontation with a 34-year-old man in the early morning hours of Sept. 12 at The Waterhole Saloon. A man the affidavit identifies as Gonzalez’s friend told investigators Gonzalez was a manager at SpaceX, where the friend also worked. The two men were at Old Town Restaurant and Bar in Bastrop with a female coworker and the coworker’s friend from out of state, the witness told investigators.

Gonzalez is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony. Court documents show his bond was set at $25,000, and he must remain at least 200 yards from The Waterhole Saloon. After the bar closed, they went to The Waterhole Saloon and arrived shortly after midnight, the man said.
