WASHINGTON — Spanish player Marc Cucurella made good on his World Cup promise by tattooing Spain's coach, Luis de la Fuente, on his body. During the soccer tournament, hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico, Cucurella said if Spain won, he would tattoo Fuente's face on his body. At the World Cup final on July 19, where Spain won 1-0 over the defending champions, Argentina, Cucurella told reporters that he would make sure his tattoo was "somewhere visible." On Tuesday, Cucurella showed his new ink. "Promise fulfilled," Cucurella said while sharing photos of the tattooing process and the final result. The tattoo, on the back of his arm, shows Fuente holding up the World Cup trophy with what appears to be the number 26 behind him.
