Suburban neighbors distraught after woman killed in shooting crossfire

A woman was killed and a man was injured in a shooting Wednesday evening in Chicago's southwest suburbs.The Will County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a home in the 200 block of Dellwood Avenue in Lockport Township for a report of a shooting around 7:54 p.m.When deputies arrived, they found a 31-year-old woman and a man in a driveway suffering from gunshot wounds.Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where the woman died, and the man is expected to recover. The female victim was identified as Michelle Robinson of Lockport, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.According to the sheriff's office, the victims were bystanders who were standing outside when they were caught in some sort of crossfire.A neighbor said one of the bullets entered her home and lodged in the wall above her son's bed after passing through his closet."He was playing a game and he said he heard the gunshot. He bent his head down.
