Suspect identified after fatal Manteca hit-and-run killed 73-year-old woman

MANTECA, Calif. — Police have identified and interviewed a driver suspected in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 73-year-old woman in Manteca last week, according to the Manteca Police Department. The collision happened around 5:49 a.m. 18 in the 800 block of West Lathrop Road. Police said the woman was believed to have been walking home from Calvary Church when she was hit and the driver left the scene.
