A 22-year-old man recently charged with shooting at two Little Rock men was implicated at age 15 in a Malvern home-invasion murder and police once rescued a sexually exploited child victim from his home. Stavaris Johnario Balentine of North Little Rock is currently jailed under a $100,000 bond on two counts of committing a terroristic act, a Class B felony that carries up to 20 years in prison. According to police reports, Balentine was arrested on Aug. 30 over accusations he shot into a car carrying two men, 29-year-old Shawntavius Watkins and 48-year-old Antonio Earnest, at the Auxora Arms apartments, 9101 Auxor Road, about 9:15 p.m. on June 27. Neither man was injured.
