Suspect shot and killed in confrontation with Canby police officers

I thought it was fireworks at first,” one resident of the Sequoia Apartment Complex told KGW. The neighbor was getting ready for bed with his wife when the gunfire erupted. “It sounded like someone emptied a clip,” he said. The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Sequoia Apartment Complex near Sequoia Parkway and Pacific Highway E., according to the Canby Police Department.
