Suspect sought in deadly shooting of 14-year-old boy in Queens: NYPD
EDGEMERE, Queens (PIX11) — While a heartbroken mom grieves the loss of her teenage son, police are still searching for the suspect sought in the fatal shooting in Queens on Monday. Malakai Adams, 14, was fatally shot in the back at the Ocean Bay Apartments on Beach Channel Drive in Edgemere at around 3:35 p.m., according to the NYPD. Adams was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved, police said. The teen was gunned down about a mile from his home.
