BARBERTON, Ohio — 3News has learned that two people were injured following a reported shooting near the McDonald's in Barberton on Monday afternoon. According to Barberton police public information officer Martin Eberhart, the first report about the shooting came in at approximately 1:33 p.m. By 1:36 p.m., the suspected shooter was in custody. The McDonald's in Barberton is located on West Tuscarawas Avenue. "Two victims suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals. There is no threat to the public at this time," Eberhardt added in an email to 3News.
