Suspects in Lexington child’s death get prison time after effort to back out of plea deals

Source Scout · Lexington Herald-Leader reports: A couple convicted for the death of a 20-month-old Lexington child will spend decades in prison for manslaughter and other offenses, a Lexington judge ruled Thursday. Briana Johnson, 29, and Kyle Guindon, 24, were sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to manslaughter and criminal abuse, court records show. Guindon also pleaded guilty to assault domestic violence.
