More information is released on the deadly officer-involved shooting in North Nashville. Metro Nashville Police said 12-year MNPD SWAT member Joshua Baney shot and killed sword-wielding suspect 54-year-old Jason Sexton outside his vehicle on Cheshire Drive on Saturday morning. A 26-year-old female in the back seat of the car was reportedly being held against her will at the time. Patrol officers reportedly spent an hour attempting Sexton to surrender before SWAT was called to the scene. Baney was directed to assist in blocking Sexton's vehicle with his police truck.
