Taco Bell has another $1 lettuce-free deal as cyclospora outbreak continues

While the cyclospora outbreak has grown, Taco Bell is once again offering a lettuce-free item at $1. After allowing customers to grab $1 Enchiritos last week, the chain is now offering patrons a Mexican Pizza for $1 on Tuesday, July 28. As Taco Bell looks to fight back against reported drops in traffic after being cited as the key restaurant in the initial cyclospora outbreak, consumers have even more to be cautious of. Officials in North Carolina have noted cilantro and parsley could also be to blame for cases in their state, while Michigan has seen its total number of cyclosporiasis cases rise over 9,000 .
