The teenager charged in connection with killing St. Croix comedian Jordan “Dutty Heart” Jones has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, according to V.I. Superior Court records. Angelo Javier Carmona was 15 years old when he shot and killed Jones on the Christiansted boardwalk on June 5, 2025. Carmona was charged as an adult with first-degree murder and related crimes, and his trial had been scheduled to begin Monday.
