Teen shot dead outside Dover, Del., restaurant, police say

Police in Delaware are investigating after, officials said, a teenager was shot and killed outside of a restaurant in Dover on Friday night. According to police, officers responded to the 1000 block of North DuPont Highway, outside of CAVA restaurant, at about 9:47 p.m. on Friday, to find 18-year-old Foster Trader of Dover on the sidewalk after having been shot multiple times. First responders used life-saving efforts but, officials said, Trader was pronounced at the scene at about 10:04 p.m. At the scene, investigators recovered multiple spent shell casings, but, police said, they did not immediately have information on any suspects or any description of a vehicle the killer may have used to flee the scene.
