PHOENIX — Officers are investigating after a teen was shot in the lower body, near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road early Friday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department. Police were called to the area for a reported shooting just before 3 a.m., police said. Arriving officers found a "teenage adult male" with a gunshot wound to his lower body, according to Phoenix Police. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officials said the suspect is currently outstanding.
