The Nebraska Supreme Court upheld two 2024 medical marijuana ballot initiatives. The decision comes nearly 10 months after former state Sen. John Kuehn and Secretary of State Bob Evnen filed an appeal to the highest court back in December 2025 after a district court judge dismissed their case. Kuehn challenged the two ballot initiatives, alleging widespread fraud and malfeasance during the signature-gathering process. He also argued there was misconduct by petition circulators.
