Syracuse, N.Y. ― Three people were reported shot on Syracuse’s South Side near Onondaga Creek Sunday night. At about 7:30 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of South Avenue for the shooting, said Sgt. Thomas Blake, a Syracuse police spokesperson. Police later confirmed three people were injured in the shooting. Several homes and vehicles were also struck by gunfire, Blake said.

About 10 minutes after the initial call, a man was found near the intersection of Midland Avenue and Oxford Street with a gunshot wound, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
