Titans quarterback Cam Ward: Better play will quiet social media attacks on his family
Times Union reports: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward said Wednesday that performing on the field will cut out all the social media criticism being thrown at his family in the wake of an 0-3 start. “My family knows the position I’m in, and they know what I’ve wanted my whole life," Ward said. "They’re in this position as well with me.” Criticism grew louder after a 12-7 loss to the New York Giants last week when Ward was intercepted in the end zone, ending the Titans' chance to eke out their first win of the season. The loss dropped Ward to 3-17 as a starter in the NFL.
