Topeka man arrested after deadly Lawrence bar stabbing

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - A Topeka man is in custody following a weekend bar brawl that left a Kansas City man dead in downtown Lawrence. Keisonn Smith Jr., 25, was arrested Sunday afternoon in Topeka and booked into the Douglas County Correctional Facility. He faces charges in the fatal stabbing of 20-year-old McMillin Tutu of Kansas City. Lawrence police officers responded to a disturbance around 2:40 a.m. 29 , in the breezeway between Seventh and Eighth streets on Massachusetts Street.
