One person was killed Tuesday in an early morning crash involving a tractor trailer on Interstate 95, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol . The single-vehicle collision happened at about 4:15 a.m. on the northbound side of I-95 in Clarendon County , said Master Trooper William Bennett. A 2021 Freightliner tractor trailer was driving north on I-95, according to Bennett. At the 100-mile marker the tractor trailer ran off the left side of the road and crashed into a guardrail before coming to a stop in the southbound lanes of I-95, Bennett said. The tractor trailer driver died at the scene, according to Bennett.
