Tulsa Police searching for information after 19-year-old shot outside event center

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said they're searching for additional information after a 19-year-old was shot outside an event center early on Sunday morning. Around 12:28 a.m. on Sunday, officers said they responded to a call reporting a shooting outside an event center located near East 51st Street South and Memorial Drive. At the scene, authorities said they found a 19-year-old who had been shot in the abdomen. Police said they provided the victim with first aid until he was able to be transported to the hospital. The department said the victim is expected to be okay.
