Investigators have detained the suspect, and a probe has also been launched. The suspect’s parents and grandparents have also been detained, according to the country’s justice minister Akin Gurlek. At approximately 8 A.M. local time on September 22, 2026, a shooting occurred outside the İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, located in the Turgutlu district of Manisa province in western Turkey after a teenage boy opened fire.

But according to the most recent reports of the incident, 11 people were injured, two of whom were in serious condition. The culprit has now been apprehended and is now in custody.
