Two 14-year-olds arrested after Gresham apartments shooting that injured 17-year-old

GRESHAM Ore. (KPTV) - Two young teenagers were arrested in Gresham on Wednesday in connection to a shooting on Saturday afternoon that left a 17-year-old in the hospital , according to police. Just after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, officers were sent to the Nash apartment complex near Southeast 188th Avenue and East Burnside Street in the Rockwood neighborhood, after gunshots were reported, police said. Gresham police found the teenage victim at the scene, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where they remain as of Wednesday. Soon after on Saturday, a first suspect was detained and then arrested.
