Two dead and two children, three adults critically injured in Deerfield crash

A deadly crash in Deerfield Beach on Saturday night left two dead, including a child, and five injured, authorities said. The crash, involving a vehicle and a motorcycle, happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard , according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. First responders arrived to find an overturned vehicle The 28-year-old motorcyclist, Maxwell Patel of Parkland, died at the scene, according to Fire Rescue. Paramedics transported a female child who was in a Nissan Sentra to Broward Health Medical Center, where she later died, the Broward Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday. The driver of the Nissan and a juvenile male passenger were transported to Broward Health North.
