Two hospitalized after stabbing in Syracuse; both expected to survive

Syracuse, N.Y. — A 15-year-old boy and a 41-year-old man were stabbed Saturday night in Syracuse, police said. Around 8:27 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Tioga Street for a reported stabbing, according to Capt. Matthew Malinowski, a Syracuse police spokesperson. When officers arrived, they found the 15-year-old with a stab wound to his leg, Malinowski said. A short time later, the 41-year-old man arrived at Upstate University Hospital with a stab wound to his abdomen, Malinowski said.
