Two killed in deadly morning crash in north Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people were killed in a north Charlotte collision Saturday morning. The collision happened on Hucks Road, off W Sugar Creek Road, around 6:10 a.m. Police say it appears the driver was heading north on Hucks Road when they ran off the road, struck a tree and overturned. When first responders arrived on scene, the driver and passenger were seriously hurt and the car badly damaged. Andrea Pohl Parkin, 55, was driving and with Bryson Duran Brown, 36, in the passenger seat.
