Two people are dead after a Saturday afternoon homicide in the Kansas City, Kansas, downtown area, according to law enforcement. Just before 3:20 p.m. Saturday, the Kansas City, Kansas, police department was called to the intersection of 7th Street and Nebraska Avenue because of a suspected shooting, according to a media release from Capt. Joshua Messick, spokesperson. At the scene, three people were suffering from gunshot wounds, Messick wrote.
