BOISE — An 18-year-old man from Meridian and a 17-year-old boy were both arrested Thursday in connection with the Aug. 30 fatal shooting of 22-year-old Destiney Gonzalez, which took place at a home in the 3900 block of West Clement Road in Boise. The shooting occurred just before 6 a.m., according to a past Idaho Press report, “with an unknown suspect firing shots into a short-term vacation rental home.” Gonzalez, of Caldwell, was pronounced dead at the scene after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful following a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Ada County Coroner’s Office report on Tuesday. Ulisses Macareno faces a first-degree murder — aiding and abetting — charge, according to a Boise Police Department news release on Thursday. Macareno was arrested with assistance from Meridian Police Department officers at a home in Meridian.
