UPDATE: TBI charges Dunlap man with criminal homicide in father’s death

UPDATE: Special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an arrest warrant charging a Dunlap man with criminal homicide in connection with his father’s death. TBI said agents began investigating the death of 47-year-old Michael Rumbel on September 9 in the 100 block of Green Forest Road at the request of 12th Judicial District Attorney General Courtney Lynch. During the investigation, agents identified 21-year-old Anthony Rumbel as the person responsible for Michael Rumbel’s death. TBI said Anthony Rumbel was located and arrested a few hours later in Marietta, Georgia, by the Georgia State Patrol. He was booked into the Cobb County Jail on charges from the Georgia State Patrol.
