USCG: Hawaii harbors reopened after Hurricane Lowell

Crews from Regional Dive Locker Pacific and Station Kauai worked to repair, reposition and reestablish aids to navigation affected by Hurricane Lowell. Coast Guard said it has officially reopened several key harbors in the wake of Hurricane Lowell. The hurricane prompted the closure of Port Allen on Kauai and Kaumalapau Harbor on Lanai due to in-water hazards and discrepancies with navigational aids.
