Utah Army National Guard plans flyovers at 29 high school football games to honor 9/11

America honors the lives lost in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, 25 years after the deadly day changed the course of the nation. SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — To honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Utah Army National Guard plans to conduct helicopter flyovers at 29 high school football games across the Wasatch Front. The flyovers are scheduled to take place in five simultaneous routes during a condensed window, starting as early as 6:41 p.m. and ending as late as 6:59 p.m. Officials with the Utah Army National Guard said 10 AH-64E Apache helicopters will conduct the flyovers, to honors the lives lost on 9/11 and to recognize the sacrifice that followed.
